Bijou but fine for a couple of nights. Bread milk butter left for us which was nice. Well located. Fine for fit adults but stairs steep and no handrails so tricky for those with mobility issues and not suitable for children.
beautiful cottage in centre of Rye. loved everything about it, lot's of thought went in to furnishings and owners are very nice and helpful.
The only thing I would want future renters about is that the stairs are very steep.
The cottage is just beside the historic gate to the town & nicely renovated.
Jason & Caroline are very helpful & well organised.
Webbe's fish restaurant opposite does very nice food but will probably need to be booked in advance. The Ypres pub (beside the tower) has a lovely garden when it's sunny.
If you have time a visit to Winchelsea (3 miles away) is very worth while.
