“The property is 400 yrs old so expect things to be uneven. The current owners have only been there a few years so maybe they still have work to do. The bedrooms are described on the website as "stylish "....I would say plain. The bedding was clean, bathroom ok but it was difficult to get the shower to the right temperature...it was either boiling or cold. Room 5 had a frosted window but it was hot so we had it open. “I love old fashioned, traditional pubs & inns, and this was perfect. Wooden beams, creaky floors, etc. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. The meals were of high quality & decently priced, too, the breakfast exceptional! Plenty of parking available. I will definitely visit there again.”

“Es hotel muy lindo, el staff es super agradable. Habitaciones cómodas y limpias”

“Lovely property -- a lot of stais to get to rooms, but a very nice location”

“Beautiful character property with cute rooms, really nice staff and delicious breakfast. Location is gorgeous!”

“Hemos pasado dos días en el hotel y hemos salido encantados. La dueña super simpática y atenta, el desayuno incluido que hace que aguantes sin comer hasta la cena...”

“Great location, friendly host who provided the extra bonus of cake! Very clean, although the bed and pillows were a little hard for our taste and we booked the downstairs room - so please be aware that you are able to hear street noise and people walking around the house, not very soundproof. Large modern bathroom and great amenities in the room, the host couldn’t do enough for you”

“Más bien agradable excepto por la calidad de las camas, que podía mejorarse para evitar el dolor de espalda debido a los colchones con muelles ya muy gastados. ”

“A wonderful hotel, everything was super nice, the room, (given a upgrade), the food outstanding, and the friendliest you could have ever meet. Definitely will book when next in the area.”

“Great little inn over the river from the main part of Shrewsbury so much quieter. Easy walking into town just over the bridge. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Nepalese restaurant as part of the premises. Good food at a reasonable price. Onsite parking is a bonus.”
