It was clean and remodeled in a safe location. It is across from a previously flooded area that is not cleaned up yet but that wasn’t too bad. Check in time was later as there was a change in owner. It was easy to find.

The cabin was exactly what we needed for a restful weekend. Upon arrival it was very clean, the parking was sufficient for an our larger pickup, it was nice and quiet. Everything in the cabin worked properly.

This is the cutest, coziest, most comfortable little cabin! Will definitely be staying here again! Parking is tight but the room itself allows all the little extras provided makes it so worth it!

The cabin and jetted tub were great and the people were nice. Two issues. View from the cabin is looking across the street where the little creek ran. All the cabins on that side of the road are pretty much demolished and part of the structures are still standing. This is from the flood a year back. So there is no pretty view from the cabin. But the worst of all was the bed. The mattress on the bed was very very old and squeaky. It collapsed all the way down when you would sit on the edge. Each time you move at night the whole thing just creeks. My wife and I did not sleep for two nights. We left early Sunday morning at 7 o’clock, even though we had one more night paid for. After you pay the special hundred dollar fee that is charged with the cabins, it cost us a little over $200 per night. The least they could do would be to update the mattress. Especially when you call it a romantic cabin getaway. And since we booked through Expedia, there is really nobody to talk to to try to get some sort of refund. Even 100 bucks off of the $600 plus bill would’ve been taken as someone caring. To tell us if they had known they would have brought us a mattress topper was just absurd. No excuse for the mattress. The pillows are totally flat as well, but we consider that our own fault. We normally bring our own pillows. At this point, we will never go back to Ruidosa and we will never use Expedia again.
