The location is awesome! I grew up in Roseburg and was down for a wedding so we stayed at The Lodge. Great view and a short walk to downtown AND my favorite restaurant, McMenamins.

This hotel is beautifully located on the South Umpqua River. We loved the location. It was very beautiful and quiet. There is a big renovation going on, but the outdoor area looks lovely. We had good sleeps and it’s very convenient to get to. The staff were great.

This hotel was just ok. The room was clean but very dated. You could hear literally everything from those rooms above and beside you. They are in the process of a remodel. The pool and spa were a little dirty. The breakfast was lackluster but served our needs. Awesome things about this property were the softest sheets we had at any hotel. Beautiful view of the river and amazing back patio area behind the hotel. The staff was also friendly. Not sure if those things really make up for the negatives. I’m also 100% sure the price is way too high for the quality.

Marriott bought this a few months ago, but it has not been renovated yet. The photos were somewhat deceiving. Our stay was fine, but we expecting much more. Breakfast was good, but limited in offerings due to small breakfast area. We stayed four nights and if we wanted housekeeping, we had to ask for it. The view however was quite nice, as all rooms face the Umpqua River.
