Helpful instructions from hotel before arrival, but had issues with useless aircon that didn't work well in the July heat. Mentioned an ant infestation to staff who said they'd deal with it, but kept seeing the ants for the whole of our four day stay. Bathrooms could have done with a scrub down. Good location to reach tourist sights.

There were definitely some positive aspects to this stay. The location is excellent, the pre-checkin videos made accessing the property very easy, and the balcony was wonderful at night. Additionally, the AC worked perfectly and kept us nice and cold during a major heat wave. Unfortunately, the property fell incredibly short on basic cleanliness. Upon check-in, the unit was very dusty, there were visible handprints on the cloth headboard, and we found another guest's sunglasses under the bed. The extra bedding for the pull-out sofa was dirty and unwashed, and soap for washing dishes was not provided. We also noticed housekeeping merely rinsed dirty dishes and put them back instead of washing them. Furthermore, the toilet ran nonstop for 3 days. When reported immediately, the manager noted his working hours were 9 to 6 but did offer to come out the first night; however, my husband managed a temporary fix so we told him he could wait. The next day, the manager said he would send someone, but had to wait another day for it to be fixed. The great location and AC do not make up for the lack of basic hygiene and cleanliness.

The rooms were great. Nice balcony, clean quiet, large bedroom. The bath is a little small with very small shower that required a balacing act to get in/out. Otherwise Mo was a great caretaker and the maid a very nice young lady. The area was perfect with easy train access steps away to Barbarini station. Great great dining, walk to all the major sites within 15 min.

Highly recommend a stay at this location where you can enjoy your spacious room with a private balcony just steps away from the Trevi fountain. The property manager was so helpful with recommendations for wine and dinner. An added bonus is that the room is cleaned every day of our stay.
