Gorgeous place to stay in Rome! Little tricky to find initially (but it’s our first time in Italy), but the staff were so nice and accommodating. The location was lovely, lots of cute shops and restaurants within walking distance. Would highly recommend!!

Beautiful hotel, so clean and so well renovated, and they are so generous they have everything you might need and they have a little small breakfast buffet and an all day snack bar to offer their guests. The staff were very professional and the location is amazing.

Our stay here was amazing! The location was just perfect! Within walking distance of so many of the major place to visit such as Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Ponte Angelo, Castel Angelo and even walking distance to the Vatican and St. Peter's Basilica! The staff were very friendly and helpful! The room was very nice and the neighborhood had so many great restaurants and shops! We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Rome and would gladly recommend it to anyone wanting to visit Rome!

Really nice location and a very pretty, unique hotel. I guess our Expedia deal relegated us to the small room compared to our friends’ rooms, but with the high ceilings and big windows, it was fine for a few nights. Appreciated the coffee and snacks always available, kind staff and nice decor. Easy to get anywhere in Rome from this neighborhood, good restos, cafés and shops all around.

Very clean & roomy. Bedsheets/towels are new and high quality. It’s small hotel with 5-6 units. Receptionist and cleaner are friendly and helpful. We did not order breakfast but they provided yogurt/banana/cookies/coffee/water at reception area for everyone’s convenience.

This charming guest house is so well situated, such a cool neighbourhood and it's walkable to anything you want to see. Michelle was very friendly and helped us to arrange a car transfer, early check and luggage storage. A great grab and go breakfast was provided, and the building itself is quite spacious and quiet, but full of history and character. Of the three locations I've stayed in Rome, this was by far my favourite. Grazie Maison dell'Orologio.

Everything was great. Super friendly and helpful staff, beautifully decorated and clean rooms and delicious breakfast and snack choices. I liked the old-house style and ambiance. Michelle was very friendly and helpful. We didn’t get the opportunity to sample the fresh fruits at breakfast but the snacks available 24/7 were okay. Air conditioning was good and room was clean. Over all, a nice comfortable home appeal. Note: the location of the trash in the front of the property was not the best set up since that is the first thing you see. That is one thing they can improve on.

I needed to find a place to stay near the University of Arkansas Rome Center, and this is just around the corner. It’s close enough to get to touristy areas quickly without feeling like you’re stuck in the middle of one. The property reached out right away to confirm my arrival time and were waiting for me. I was able to get into my room shortly after noon, and the room itself was very cute and comfortable. They provided a filtered water machine and lots of free snacks that you could help yourself to at any time, and it was very easy to come and go. My only issue with the room was that the shower water didn’t get very warm; the bidet water did, but the shower didn’t warm up, at least not within a reasonable length of time. Still, after a hot day out in Rome, a cool shower might not bother you that much.

I'll start with the bad stuff first. When I wanted to shower shortly after we checked in, the handle came off and the water wouldn't shut off. There was no screw holding the handle in place. I'm guessing this has happened before and it will probably happen again, especially since the building manager was already aware of it. The woman who checked us in (she had clocked out for the evening) came back and reattached the handle. Still, the water pressure was very low and the water temperature was lukewarm. Secondly, the room doesn't look like the photos at a. It's very rundown and in need of renovation. There was scaffolding on the interior of the building so maybe that's the plan because it like the building is going to fall down. There were workers there during our stay, so maybe they are enhancing the building. That said, the building is in a great location, the staff is nice, it's very quiet at night and they serve a terrific breakfast in the morning. It somewhat makes up for the other faults. Would I stay here again? I'm not sure. You might want to ask about some of these things before booking.
