Very very central hotel at the fontana di trevi . Our room was on the third floor with no lift. The stairs to reach the room are stressful to everyone, a customer should be asked before given a room with no lift. The floor of the room was never cleaned in 3 days.

Stay away !!!!! Stay away from this hotel and do not book with Expedia ever again. !!!!!!!!! Upon arrival everything seems great. Great location. But then we were sent to their annex building which seemed charming but you were also greeted to a moldy stench. We placed out luggage and bags down in our room and decided to grab a bite to eat and walk around the area. Upon our return we had ants crawling on our luggages, ants in our bags, ants on the furniture (chairs, beds) even just standing to wash my hands in the bathroom I already had ants crawling up my leg. We reported the infestation to the front desk only to find out there was no other room we could have been moved to and that the only thing we could have done was to have the room sprayed for the bugs. With 2 children that was not an option for us and were forced to book another hotel in Rome that same night. I requested my money to be refunded and was told that they couldn’t do so since we booked with Expedia and would have to contact Expedia and request a refund. After 4 days Expedia has yet to reach them And will not refund me. I paid almost $1,000 for 2 nights and Expedia wanted to refund me $100 on their one key credit. Save yourself the headache and don’t ever stay in this hotel. Nor the hotel Or Expedia has tried to reach out to us and refund us. Very had customer service on both ends.

We recently stayed at this hotel as a family and had a very mixed experience. The ONLY positive side, the location was excellent—close to everything we needed and very convenient for getting around the area. Unfortunately, the rest of the stay didn’t live up to expectations. The breakfast was inconsistent and often not stocked, which made mornings frustrating when items ran out and weren’t replenished. Even more concerning, our room had no heat during our stay. There was also no coffee maker in the room, like stated their would be. We reached out to the front desk multiple times, but there was no effort made to resolve the issue or offer an alternative, which made for a very uncomfortable experience. You will never be able to reach hotel staff for problems, they will not pick up the phone. To make matters worse, we were later accused of breaking not just one, but two beds during our stay—something that was both surprising and upsetting, as we treated the room respectfully. The situation felt mishandled and left a negative impression, even after providing proof, that the beds were not broken by us during our stay. Overall, while the location is a definite highlight, the lack of basic amenities, poor service, and unfounded accusations made this a disappointing stay. Traveler beware.

Central location close to Trevi Fountain and lots of food options. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, and must see sights. Property is old, the shower head was coming off of the wall, ants in the room, and mold/mildew in the bathroom. We stayed on the top floor of one of their nine buildings. Many flights of stairs or a very cramped, tiny, scary elevator ride. Booked through Expedia and pre-paid for the breakfast option. When trying to get said breakfast was denied and said we needed to pay. Talked to elderly man with glasses at the front desk and he was rude and dismissive. Rolled his eyes at us and told us there is nothing about included breakfast in our reservation, even though the person who checked us in told us specifically we prepaid for the breakfast. This person then told us to wait for his colleague to start their shift to talk to them and shooed us away.

Nice hotel close to Trevi fountains. Hotel rooms are very small. Breakfast is not great for the money paid 15 euros. Bed and pillows are like sleeping on a rock bed. AC cannot be lowered. Room was very warm. Front desk staff is very friendly. The property is divided into 3 bldg. If you get your room in the main bldg, then you are lucky. some of our friends got it in other bldg. They need to wait for someone to take you there. That takes time. Overall, hotel is nice except, food, bed and AC issues.
