Showers were great - good water pressure. Grounds beautifully maintained. Motel shows some age but all the appliances were new (big screen TV, larger than mini fridge, microwave). Comfortable and clean. Friendly, professional staff. Gorgeous sunset from the beach right behind the motel.

Clean room, a little dated, but very cozy. I was bummed the fireplaces were out of order, but other than that, it was great! A clean cozy ocean front room with a balcony on a budget! What more could you ask for?!

Great views and helpful service. Their strict rule against cooking seafood is kind of a drag and sometimes we don't stay here for that reason

No air conditioning and the pillows were huge and hurt my neck. However, the hotel manager was so accommodating, even brought us a wine bottle opener and wine glasses when we mentioned we bought a bottle of wine. The facilities were very clean, the location was ideal (right on the ocean) for traveling up and down the Oregon coast!, and the flowers out front were breath taking!! I would highly recommend it!

The location is superb. The cost for the ocean view is worth it every time! Parking is easy and secure. We love staying at The Tradewinds. When Neal (the owner) has his flower baskets up, there is no prettier location between Canon Beach and Newport.

The man at the desk was very friendly and we had a nice discussion about the weather comparison between Oregon and our home state. Our room was right on the beach; we had a beautiful view of the ocean. The room was clean and water pressure was great from a double shower head! Parking was close and we felt very safe.

The entire stay was very nice. Parking was convenient. Registering was a breeze with staff very pleasant. Room was clean with a view to die for. Some things in the room needed upgrading ( paint was chipping in some areas and toilets need to be upped to 17-19 inches) but overall…….9/10!
