Our room had a UNIQUE SHOWER part of the bedroom with toilet/bidet as small separate room. Modern, functional and more intimate for couples. Staff was very helpful/supportive for the MAYO visit. .

Great location if going to the Mayo Clinic. Underground corridor that takes you directly to the Mayo Clinic. Nice dining room....very easy after a full day of appointments at Mayo. Thank you Marriot !

Ivan the maintenance man was the best experience of our one night stay. I finally had to go down to the front desk (after 2 phone calls to them and waiting 45 minutes for help to fix our TV remote) the young man there at the desk I spoke to on the phone looked miffed and then the woman in charge made things happen. Ivan came to our room by the time I got back up there. He was so pleasant and friendly. He got things fixed and said a gracious goodnight. Great customer service! That’s all. Dear Marriot Mayo, A customer service training for your front of house staff would be a definite plus in your favor. I suggest the lovely woman that came out at the front desk to help and also Ivan would be great to lead that class. Such a nice hotel. Thank you for listening.

Overall the hotel staff and amenities are fine, especially for Rochester, MN, but make it be known the pool is open until 11PM and those staying here for the Mayo Clinic will not get rest if your room faces the pool area. Those rooms should be free if kids are in there screaming until close.
