Amazing hotel! The location is amazing with it being right in the middle of the city. The room was very clean and well-kept. I enjoyed the spa area with the hot tub. I would highly recommend this hotel!

This is a great spot to stay for your Reykjavik visit. It's about ten steps off the main street. They had a great breakfast and very friendly staff. The rooms are a bit small but they are functional and we were there to see Reykjavik not sit in the room. It seemed like a very safe area, we actually went for a walk on a Friday night at 1 am and there were lots of people out and about, we had no concerns at all.

This property is perfectly located in downtown Reykjavik! They don’t have parking onsite, but street parking is available and easy to find a spot. The staff goes above and beyond to help and give suggestions for local eateries, things to do. Breakfast was a beautiful spread every morning. I would 100% stay here again.

The room was cleaned when we walked in. I'm not usually one to walk about with nothing of my feet in hotels but this hotelmwas clean enough I felt I could. Shower was lovely and welcoming when needed. We had a nice view overlooking all the way to the harbour, the staff where really nice welcoming and friendly. The only thing we are disappointed in was the fact we had to leave and go home! Would recommend this hotel and would stay again when we next visit. 😀

I stayed at Thingholt hotel 2 years ago and again this past week. The staff is friendly and the spa is great. Unfortunately, the gym is limited and in disrepair. It only consists of damaged stationary bikes, weights, and a few other accessories. Additionally, the rooms could use a bit of updating.
