“Expensive for room only, paid £222. Room in need of update and maintenance. Could not get TV on without entering my email address. The room was on the ground floor behind the pub and very noisy until all guests left about 11.30”

“The bathroom was good, the bed was comfortable but the room was a bit dated and despite a Dyson Cool fan the room was dreadfully hot and there was no ventilation in the bathroom.”

“The location is absolutely beautiful and incredibly picturesque. Our room was amazing, very spacious, spotless, and featuring a fantastic double shower which was a real highlight. The bar staff in particular were exceptional throughout our stay, friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful, which really added to the overall experience. “Nice clean room, comfortable bed. Great proximity to Harry Potter Studios and walking distance to a yummy pub. Off-street parking. Note shared bathroom. We had noisy neighbors at 2 am but not the fault of the B and B.”

“A nice stay, with a very good breakfast. A few maintenance issues in the bedroom which needed addressing with a paint brush, and some cleaning issues, which were loose cotton threads from the sheets scattered everywhere. Simple stuff to do to get 5 stars, and to ensure standards are as they should be.”

“Staff friendly. Room was on top floor not ideal as no lift and my partner is elderly. Room was noisey due to hotel air conditioning systems being located on that floor. Bed comfortable but noise prevented good nights sleep. Breakfast was good and grounds are nice. Room rate for the Saturday overall I would say not worth it and would only stay again unless I got a deal.”

“Great stay here as a mum and daughter. Room, facilitates and food were excellent. The gardens are beautiful with peacocks everywhere. The males were fanning out their beautiful tail feathers! Only downfall was the poor water pressure in the rooms shower and horrific noise it made after about 5 mins of it running! Sounded like an airplane taking off!”
