The Grizz hotel is a older hotel 1962 but has had pretty good upgrades. It doesn't look like much from the outside and if I was driving by I would probably pass on it, but the inside is nice and clean and well furnished. The price was good and it is right by the nice downtown with all the restaurant's and shops. I would stay again just for the location.

The location is very good. Walking distance to restaurants. The place was clean. The continental breakfast was very basic so I wouldn't book to stay here because of that. Overall a decent priced place to stay overnight on our trip.

The room was basic and clean. I liked that there was water and a microwave available. All staff were kind and friendly. The location is very central It never took more than 5-10min to walk to everywhere I needed. The hotel was also very quiet despite the noise warning in the description. Free & plentiful parking was also a bonus. The only negative was the decor. Very dated and didn't match the building.

Don't let the outside fool you. The hotel is very well-maintained with wonderful decore, comfortable beds & modern bathrooms. It is quite exquisite on the inside. The walls are very thin (which the staff warn folks about) and the noise does carry but we didn't experiance too much noise during our stay. However we were at the end of the hall. The breakfast is very modest but does the job. For the price i'd say it is worth it!
