“We have stayed at the Cliff Hotel before a few years ago so knew what to expect. The food was excellent, staff where very helpful and friendly. Our room was a bit on the small size for a standard double but we did ask for a walk in shower which was provided which might be why we had that room but the bed was massive and very comfortable, had enough room to walk about without knocking into anything but the bathroom needed to be a bit bigger nowhere to put your toiletries. “From the outside the property had old style appeal and parking which was a positive however when taken to our room this was at the back of the property and you had to pass washing hanging online, a laundry shed and general toot and tat. The entrance to the stairway to the room went past the back of the kitchen where the door was permanently open so you heard all the usual professional kitchen noises..
