We had a 2-day drive from CA to WA. Redding was the perfect mid point for a overnight stay. I was thrilled to get a room that could fit 5 comfortly (two queens plus a sofa bed). The room is very spacious which makes the stay very enjoyable. Breakfast was another bonus. The waffle machine was a hit for my kids. Staff was friendly and very helpful.

There was no air conditioning downstairs at the front desk. It smelled throughout the whole building. I don't know if it was bug spray or perfume. It smelled like they were trying to cover up something. The bed was lumpy and the bath towels smelled. Justin who checked us in was very nice and helpful.

Good, clean hotel. Staff is courteous and helpful. Our room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was ok. Pretty basic eggs, sausage, waffles. Good for a quick bite. They ran out quickly after 1st round early on and the refill was slow (only reason for taking of one star). We had a short layover for one night so not bad at all on a budget.

No air conditioning in the public places. Very warm inside besides my room. It was 100 outside and felt like 90 inside. Needs to be updated. Staff was great but little things like broken shampoo and soap holders in the rooms, no room cleaning unless you ask for it and out of order ice machines.
