Beautifully restored, maintained historic hotel. Had great restaurant and a separate bar with live music. Right in downtown area with many nearby shops and restaurants. Also free on site parking. Everything is super convenient and rooms spacious and very quiet (except for the occasional train going by, only lending to the charm). Would definitely stay there again.

It was an ok hotel ..it should mention the train that comes through in middle of night 😬 it did have a beautiful view of the river..bed was comfortable..overall I would just say it was ok a little spendy and sadly no ghost sightings 😮 I guess I can say I’ve stayed there but probably won’t again

The hotel is 150 years old, while keeping it's ancestral roots it has been updated to relative modern standards. Everyone was helpful, restaurant & bars were great. We had a wonderful 4th of July stay!!

It was the best decision to stay at st james. It really gives you a royal , vintage and heritage vibe. The rooms are luxurious, majestic & king like . The Restaurant “Scarlet kitchen & Bar” is the best restaurant in town, the food we had was very flavorful , clean & made with love. The staff was very very generous & humble. The location is right in the middle of the town, everything seems to be at a walkable distance. Would highly recommended this place to everyone.
