“The staff were really friendly and approachable. The meal I had was one of the best I've had in a long while. “Cory, the manager of The Fox, is a lovely host. Super hard working, he is around to serve breakfast and still managing the bar late at night. Nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are spacious and warm. Parking is immediately outside the rooms and easily accessed. Bury St Edmund’s is a lovely town with excellent shopping and coffee shops. Strongly recommend staying at The Fox for visiting Bury St Edmunds.”

“A warm and welcoming stay in the heart of Ely in a lovely pub. The room was gorgeous, beautifully decorated, felt like a bijou apartment, and the bed very cosy indeed with sumptuous bedding. Very quiet, surprising for a pub on a high street . The bar downstairs is cosy with a large menu if needed. The breakfast menu also looked good but we didn’t partake. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.”

“The door wouldn’t lock, either inside or outside, so had to be fixed. There was no loo rolls in bathroom, which I had to ask for. I got in from work hoping to have a shower, but there was no hot water. I told the landlady but there still wasn’t any hot water in the morning. Not impressed by the whole experience”
