The Berkeley is my go to for close to home Beach- it is across the street from the Beach, Dog friendly, near the Dog Beach, Near the Restaurants and quiet area.

Decent and nice hotel with lots of potential. It is located conveniently to all the places we like to frequent on the boardwalk and Cookman Avenue. The complimentary coffee and water in the lobby was appreciated and the location of the gym and the hours was a plus for us as well. I would suggest to the hotel to provide complimentary beach passes at least for one day for the prices that are charged.

Beautiful building, great location, our room overlooked the Atlantic Ocean and Convention Hall. The staff at the check-in desk gave us great local info and suggestions on where to go. The pool bar was so much fun, we made new friends and the staff was lovely. Highly recommend this hotel!!

It was a good stay overall. I just didn't like that I was next to the elevator and the repeated loud noises from people in the hallway by the elevator. I'm a very light sleeper, so it definitely was bothersome. But other than that, the hotel itself was great. Good location and friendly staff.

THis is a classic historic hotel that has been nicely renovated. The location is right off the beach. The rooms are very large and comfortable. The pool area is awesome. This is the second time we have been at this hotel in a month and will be coming back again and again.

The hotel was an old and beautiful. The foyer, mezzanine and pool area were stunning. The staff was kind and welcoming. Although our room was large and clean, it needed updating. The beds were extremely hard and low to the floor.

Love the location and view. The loss of on site parking was a big surprise or I guess I could have had it for $60 night. At pool many spaces were reserved for people who paid a premium to rent a cabana or a group of chairs for $150. So I still like the Berkeley but I miss some of the perks that are now only for high rollers. 😔
