Awesome, relaxing staycation! From the moment we arrived we knew this was going to be a memorable stay as the Owners (Oscar & Stephen) was there to greet us, gave a tour of this castle/mantion. They are kind hearted people doing lots of social and community work in the area.
During the castle tour, we liked another suite and host let us upgrade since it was available at no charge. At this place, they care about you, having good time; no haggling about anything monetory.
Ambience is such a gorgeous we were awestruck, indoor full of decorative antiques, play activities and Christmas charm!!!
We are still here, will update this after our stay and before coming back!!
Breakfast was out of the world! Never expected multi course morning meal prepared by the owner himself!! Victorian Dish with a pinch of asian twist was mind blowing!!
Highly recommended!!!
Our stay here was one of a kind. Our hosts were kind and very gracious. The building is beyond gorgeous and you really do not get a true feel for it’s beauty until you are walking through the halls and seeing all the amazing details.
You absolutely need to stay here if you are in Reading Pa
The Guest House is very nice. Though only one night, we had a very nice stay. The Guest House was very comfortable and utterly amazing. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating. (Though the number of text messages was unprecedented compared to other accommodations. One e-mail would have been preferred.)
We'd definitely stay here -- or in the sister property -- again on a return trip to Reading.
From the moment we arrived, we felt like special guests. We were encouraged to make ourselves at home and explore the house. Breakfast was wonderful and they provided me a dietary option. I didn’t realize that they open the home to community outreach and your hotel fees go towards providing charity and the arts. I definitely recommend.
Breakfast was outstanding. This is not your typical bed and breakfast. Staff was lovely and friendly. It feels a tad haunted by a wonderful family legacy, which is sort of fun.
What an amazing property! Impeccable in every way! Our host were very attentive and fixed the best breakfast I’ve enjoyed in quite some time! Had a wonderful tour of the property! Can’t wait to visit again!
It was a very nice experience the grounds are well kept and later in the year I’m sure beautiful and the rooms are well kept and clean and your host Tj is what you want when u check in to a B and B. + the chef makes a hell of a breakfast.
This is an amazing hotel! It’s definitely the neatest place we have ever stayed. It’s beautiful and the staff is very friendly. The breakfast was delicious and we can’t wait to stay here again!
