This was a lovely hotel. It was walking distance from Skógafoss! We enjoyed the breakfast (it was delish) and the location was excellent for day trip activities. Would absolutely stay again.

Amazing view and restaurant on side was really good, stuff and everything was top top! wish it worked until 12am though, had to rash to get there for last minute booking. But this is a problem in general that all groceries and restaurants close way too early.

Location right next to the Falls. Close enough to the Reynisfjara Beach and Dyrholaey Closest dining is in Vik about 20 miles away. Hot water had the smell of rotten eggs (from sulfur) which was explained but nevertheless very annoying and some how icky. Breakfast was nice and they had some lovely coffee in the hall way.

We loved the location, the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness and comfort, the good breakfast, and it's right on the route to the circular trail and that amazing waterfall. Parking included. Highly recommended, and a great restaurant too.

8/10 experience. The hotel was great. The only reason for docking the score is our room. At first it seemed like a great spot because we had a fantastic view of the waterfall. We were in room 21, so as close to it as could be which was amazing. The downside to that was, we were next to the restaurant, and staff frequently came out back for breaks and would talk on their phones and smoke. We wanted to leave our window open (the room was HOT), to let in the cool air but we couldn't because of the noise and the smoking.

The hotel was clean, modern, comfortable and the shower was amazing! The food & drinks in the hotel restaurant were wonderful! Loved our two night stay here - close to Vik, walk to Skógafoss Waterfall which is literally right next to hotel. Breakfast was great too! I would definitely stay here again!

This hotel is literally 100 yards away from Skogafoss. Location is perfect and we greatly appreciated daily breakfast and staff was super nice especially front desk lady. However, a couple of notes. Bathroom had a urine smell and in order to close the entry door you had to really pull it hard which made a lot of noise. Heard the same noise from other rooms as well. Beds were okay but pillows were as flat as they can be. We did appreciate the dark curtains and multiple electric outlets and good lighting. Easy access to the room and ground floor and free parking were unbeatable. Breakfast selection was good and staff was prompt to help. That was the best part: staff! Overall, it was an okay stay as comfort wasn’t that good and dinner choice was limited. Also the hamburger I had ordered was undercooked which made us skip dinner the next night. If you don’t mind the noise and a bit if discomfort this hotel is perfectly located. Close to Vik and other areas too
