“Spooky!!! This place is definitely haunted, 100%, whilst staying here last night I woke to see the outline of a ghost at the end of my bed 👻, it moved slowly across the room towards the window and then disappeared. If you like the paranormal this is the place to stay. Will definitely come again.”

“The hotel is an old building, grade 2 listed, and as such is harder to maintain, but a lovely place to be - so you have to be a little forgiving regarding the quirks and the odd mishap. We were given a better room than the one booked - it faced the road and the traffic was a bit noisy, but we weren't bothered by it. You do hear through the walls a little more than I'm normally used to, but again, no real problem. Everyone we dealt with was really pleasant and helpful. Sometimes you have to ask...

“Convenient having bar and restaurant on site. Spa looked nice but I didn’t have time to use it. Attractive countryside location.”

“Were there for a wedding, great venue, food was nice, especially the breakfast. The courtyard rooms are small but comfortable, although could do with some maintenance”

“Pleasant stay. Clean room. A not too loud alarm did disturb our sleep a little but it must have been nothing untoward? - fire regulations said to wait in bedroom until otherwise advised... fortunately no such advice was forthcoming!”
