Lovely inn

A great old inn with lots of character. Really good, comfortable large room. Comfortable bed. Very efficient check in. Excellent restaurant, can highly recommend the fixed price menu.

A very tired old hotel. No air con the ceiling fan was broken a stand in floor one was there. Very noisy. I can’t with any integrity recommend the hotel though breakfast was very good. The following night for the same price I had an outstanding hotel in Belgium.

Property whilst on the road was in a quiet location. Rooms had fun rickity stairs to loft for additional beds - no handrails. No lifts to rooms ( important if not particularly mobile). We booked dinner but didn’t get to eat for 1hr30, mixed reviews on food- my vegetarian was delicious, my daughters fish & chips was cold on the inside. The staff were lovely and it was a good price. Breakfast was better than I expected for Continental. Bed was firm but I slept well.

We enjoyed our two-night stay in a comfortable room with windows that could be opened wide and a ceiling fan. Small things that become very important hot nights during summer!

Very nice outside dining, meeting/drinking area when the evenings weather allowed. We had 3 beautiful evenings outside to unwind after day out exploring. Great central Holland location to venture out from by car. Train was a little far for our group to walk so we just parked Car at station. Liked the room layout. Had both the 4 bed and 6 bed. NO fridge but that seems common in Europe.

Prima accomodatie. Fijn dat je ook tegen bijbetalen early kan inchecken. Het was alleen wel spijtig dat wij kamer 9 hadden. Grenzend aan het terras. Met naast onze ramen de "stamtafel " de ramen konden niet open ondanks het mooie weer. Lang de mensen daar aan de tafel luidruchtig én roken zodat de rook zo bij ons de kamer in kwam. Heerlijk diner en ontbijt gehad.met helaas gasten die bij het ontbijt een hond mee naar binnen hadden genomen. Dit tegen de regels van het hotel in. Wij hadden wél onze hond op de kamer gelaten. Wij hebben het personeel er op aangesproken, deze spraken met de hondeigenaren. Maar bleven met hond binnen zitten. Er werd verder geen actie ondernomen. Dat klopt niet. Gelijke behandeling zou wenselijk zijn. Dan hadden wij en andere gasten de hond ook mee kunnen nemen. Wij vonden het welkom op vrijdag en inchecken professioneel. Uitchecken werd met de situatie hond als niet prettig ervaren. Er werd niet eens gevraagd of we een prettig verblijf hadden gehad. Wij vonden dat de ochtend ploeg erg met zichzelf bezig was, bij de balie en mobiel. Ipv gasten. Groot verschil met inchecken nogmaals en tijdens bediening van het diner.

Goed ontbijt, mocht wat mij betreft iets meer keus zijn. Personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Kamer was prima, goed bed, kussen lag niet erg goed. Was geen airco aanwezig, wel was er een ventilator in de kamer gezet. Goed dat daar aangedacht word, helaas bij het willen aanzetten was die erg stoffig. Dus advies om de puntjes op de i te verbeteren. Ook de hangende ventilator zat stof op. En de wc in de badkamer rook erg naar urine. Als dat word aangepakt zal het een verblijf zeker verbeteren

De kamer was heel schoon en alles zag er netjes uit. Het personeel is vriendelijk en wil het de gasten goed naar de zin maken. Het hotel is kleinachalig en heel knus, het lijkt op een hoeve van vroeger. Het is in die stijl nagebouwd. Het ontbijt was niet heel uitgebreid, maar wel goed verzorgd en lekker. Het hotel zit vlak aan de doorgaande weg, heel handig, alleen hoor je daar 's nachts wel de auto's rijden.
