The charm of the hotel was its old world architecture, but that charm had some disadvantages, such as no elevator to bring luggage up or down from your room. Also, our room had two levels, the bathroom was a full staircase up from the bedroom. The location was very good. The staff was very friendly and helpful, they even brought our luggage to our room while prior to check in so we could do some sightseeing. There is a restaurant and bar on the premises.

This was our 3 rd stay on this hotel And we noticed lots of changes since owner changed. Poor breakfast used to be much much better. No orange juice just apple, free water in dining room but coffee after breakfast is at cost. Clean rooms don’t choose European room as it’s on the 4 th floor lots stairs and very small we changed and were charged for it bc we booked through Expedia. Great staff polite and try to help. I think when we come back we will stay elsewhere.

A great hotel and really friendly staff. A very good, but basic breakfast. Rooms don't have coffee machine or kettle, however you can get coffee/tea all day down in the lounge area. A great stay and fantastic location for seeing old Quebec.
