From our check in to our check out, we had an excellent stay at this hotel. Front desk employees were so very helpful and answered any questions we may have had. Room was very clean standard one for few days stay, but the swimming pool was not cleaned when we went for a swim. I felt a bit nauseating since it was stinking to be honest. The hotel has great amenities like Sauna, jacuzzi and also Boston Pizza was easily accessible through the hotel. It has enough parking space too.

The room was cleaned and bed comfy. Slept great! The shower curtain and spit all over it and was so hold - it was shredded at the top and bottom. I ended buying a new curtain at dollar store… We were there a week. No noise issue, pool and hot tub were clean. Hallways runner down - good blue collar hotel! Don’t stay there for any special occasions.

The room was clean and tidy upon check in. Although, I was not able to find my rooms location (there is a separate building on the left called UniLofts) where they have some rooms. Initially my access card was not working but staff member was quick enough to come and help with the access. The pool area with hot sauna was the highlight of the hotel. The money is worth considering the location (30 mins to Old Quebec by Bus) and the hotels facilities.

I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Universel and was very satisfied with the overall experience. I would rate the hotel 9 out of 10, and I would definitely recommend it to friends and family. The hotel facilities were very good, the service was friendly and helpful, and everything was clean and comfortable. One of the highlights for our family was the water recreation area, which our children absolutely loved. It was a great feature for families with kids and made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would be pleased to choose Hotel Universel again on a future visit.

Our room was very nice. Clean and organized. The thing that dropped my rating is that the windows had coverings so we couldn’t see out or open. Not all rooms had the covering on the windows and the room did its job for us. Staff and everything else was exceptional.

Tiny pool ...hot tub very murky,slippery,and too deep for shorter people. Property was not well maintained, overflowing garbage worn carpeting and 1st floor was absolutely disgusting. Dirty,shabby,and smelly. Budget priced when you use booking apps. Otherwise never pay hotel's price. Having said all that, it is great for kids.
