Very good experience at this hotel! Rooms and most importantly, beds were clean! We purposefully chose this hotel based on ratings and proximity to Old Quebec, so we were very disappointed to learn that the hotel is in an area that both looks and feels unsafe. I regret not researching the area before booking. Many individuals who seemed to be engaging in illegal activities surrounding and campaigning out around this hotel.

Very friendly helpful staff w concierge to help with tours, bus routes, etc. Restaurant and cafe good. Beds comfy and the Nespresso machines in room a nice touch. Good restaurants close by but to get to Old Quebec plan transport. The walk is uphill with a very steep staircase to enter the Old Town.

The stay was great with friendly staff and a good location. However when we checked in at 7.30 pm and wanted to order in some dinner we found out that the restaurant wasn't in operation on Sunday. Also there wasn't a choice of tea which we would have appreciated in the morning. A few points to note the chair had cracked leather and wobbly lamp shades while minor points did suggest a closer look at maintenance would help uplift the experience.

The staff were amazing but the room was not. The room handle sticks, the toilet was finicky, the pillows were uncomfortable and we could hear all sorts of sounds from the building and the events going on in the building through out the night. Request not to stay on the second floor. The hotel is walkable to tourist attractions and to transit. If you’re library ppl, there’s one across the from the front door, it has more than 3 floors. 3/4 room outlets were placed in odd places.
