The location of this hotel is fantastic. Short walk to most of the historical sites and surrounded by lovely Old Quebec streets to explore and many small restaurants. The high ceiling room is filled with antiques and very quiet with the multiple window coverings (two windows, wooden shutters, and heavy velvet curtains).

Location was great. Parking was a nightmare. Definitely call before for options. Check-in process that was communicated by email was confusing - call 24 hours in advance, limited front desk help. Front desk was silent, never returned our calls. We were running late and were not sure anyone would be there when we arrived. Upon arrival we found the front desk was staffed from 8 am - 7 pm which would have relieved my stress levels. The rooms are quaint, comfortable and clean.

The location is excellent and right in the heart of Old Quebec with walking distance to shops and restaurants. Because of it's age, there isn't any onsite parking and we had to park in a local garage and walk our luggage uphill. The room was charming and comfortable except for the pillows on the bed. For some reason, we were only given 2 very flat pillows to sleep on and could find no other ones in the closet. By the time we realized this, the onsite reception was already gone for the evening as the front desk closes at 8pm.

The Hotel Marie-Rollett met all of our expectations. It was quaint, unique, clean, quiet and located in the heart of the old city, walkable to restaurants, shopping, historical sites and more. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Underground parking is about half a block away, there are 15 minute parking spots in front of the hotel where you can unload your luggage before parking. The staff was very helpful with baggage and in meeting any requests that we had i.e., extra towels, directions, suggestions. The front stairs leading up to the hotel reception area are a bit steep which is common throughout the area in these older buildings. We would definitely stay there again!
