We really enjoyed our stay. The room was cozy, clean and had great AC! The location was unbeatable for the price… we were able to walk all over. There were a few underground lots nearby so parking wasn’t an issue. Thanks again!

Great stay in a fantastic location – just minutes from everything! The hotel is very clean, and the front desk (they recently add on) was extremely helpful throughout our visit. We had two rooms, and one was ready for early check-in at noon, which was a nice bonus. Our car was too tall for the indoor parking garage, but the staff went out of their way to secure a spot for us at the neighboring hotel – incredibly convenient and thoughtful. The rooms feature hardwood floors and look freshly renovated. The only minor drawback is that the doors are a bit hard to close, likely due to the building's older structure. Also, if you have noisy kids, you may want to keep them in check, as sound carries. Overall, we highly recommend this place!

The two sets of steps to the front doors were difficult for me and my friend with Parkinson’s, because the top steps were shorter in width than the lower steps. This made it difficult to get your balance. There was no elevator, which I should’ve checked before I made our reservation. It’s in a nice location for walking, but parking was difficult to find, and costly when I did find it. The staff was helpful, but were not always readily available at the desk; they had to be reached by phone from the outer entrance way, down one of the uneven set of stairs.

If you’re visiting old Quebec, it is worth spending a bit more to get a nicer spot with on-site employees and functional services. Our AC did not work, and the attendant was unable to fix it. Then we thought we fixed the AC, but despite the unit beginning to respond to our remote, it did not actually blow cold air. It takes half an hour for them to arrive on site after hours (after 7pm), so you can imagine the inconvenience if you require assistance. This is why we will pay more and stay elsewhere next time. Btw there is good public parking just a 14 minute walk away at GESPARC, which is in the same parade used by the Hilton. We were lucky to find parking there on a busy Saturday night.

NO SOUND ISOLATION The room is next to the street below ground floor and right below the staircase of the hotel (like in Harry Potter) which brings a lot of noises and vibrations. It is also located where the pipelines go through and where the employee’s rooms and washing machines are located so prepare yourself to have noises constantly even at 4.30 am when the employees wash the dirty bed sheets left on the floor earlier in the common area) NO HOTEL STANDARD-LIKE SERVICES It felt like a walk in / walk out type of hotel with no real reception after working hours. No water fountain was available so you will need to drink from the sink. The cleaning was done approximately with a lot of dust left and the sink was damaged. Side note: Do not go there with a friend, the shower door is made out of glass and right in front of the bed. The bed was confortable and the appliances were nice otherwise. PERFECT LOCATION You will be located in the best area, close to everything so that is the real benefit. However for the price of the room and the quality of it, I would recommend going elsewhere.
