If you’re looking for a safe place to stay, this place is it. Very safe: enclosed parking, entire property is enclosed, guests wear wristbands to be identified, and you don’t have to leave for food, drink, or pool. The cleanliness was average. The people were very nice and helpful.

Parking in the street is sketchy. I would highly recommend knowing how to speak Spanish if you are staying here. Not a lot of surrounding restaurants. Staff are very helpful, AC works well, pool is great, community hotel vibe with updated rooms. Power went out twice, but they had a company fixing it there immediately. Hotel parking is tricky-but eventually worked out. Go early for breakfast-avoid the rush.

Staff were very helpful and provided a free upgrade to a ground floor poolside room. Excellent location for early morning ferry connection. Restaurant had great fish tacos and Caesar salad. Very safe locked parking garage. Needs night table lamps and vanity lamp in bathroom. Shower door design spills water on floor.

Puntarenas Costa Rica very nice hotel

The hotel is in town, close walk to the beach. Staff is very accommodating and friendly. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Pool area very nice. Our first time to Puntarenas Costa Rica and the hotel is perfect.
