The food wasn't great, could barely find something to eat that we liked. The rooms were okay for the cost. We had salt water coming out the pipes for the entire stay and the staff couldn't explain why. Otherwise from that the place was comfortable and entertainment was great we enjoyed that.

4/10 Poor

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
The room was clean. I like the top roof pool view , but the pools had lots of chlorine, it was not swimmable. My eyes were burning. My skin was burning as well. The beach is not connected to the resort, and the beach was super dirty. You needed to pay for towels. The A La Carta Restaurante was Mexican night, I didn't like the taste. I left there and went to the buffet and it had better food. The bar ran out of alcohol. Entertainment was ok - Michael Jackson shows.

The staff was great and very helpful but the hotel was very cheap room were outdated mold in the shower multiple items in the room broken and food there was only 1 buffet to go to everything else you had to pay even a member of the family got sick. The beach was a 10 minute walk but it was gross there was a disgusting smell that you count not even go swimming. If you want to go to punta Cana on a budget this is the place otherwise spend a little bite more for something better

It was overall one of my favorite trips. For the resort, the staff are really nice. If you are young girls (my friend and I are 20) you will be targeted. For our experience, we had a security guard have interest in us, to where he let us in the pool late and wanted to “hangout”. My friend and I were both sleeping in our rooms (with the door locked) and my friend woke up to him opening our door and staring until she got up to close the door. There was more that had happened, but that couldn’t be written in a review (just be careful and safe, they might be nice for the wrong reasons). Our balcony door wouldn’t lock, we had to request sleeping pillows (our room didn’t come with it), the water stopped working at some points, the food was repetitive (we were also there for almost two weeks so that’s on us), and the locals were very friendly. Although these are most of the cons, this place was fun and very welcoming, especially as Americans. Also, make sure you check which season you are going. We went in July, which the beach was unable to be swam in because of the seaweed (also our fault). There are other beaches that we went to that were very nice, but it takes around 30 minutes to drive there.
