Everything about our stay was absolutely wonderful! Riu Bambu is a fantastic resort with top-notch service. The staff everywhere — from the front desk to the restaurants and housekeeping — were always incredibly friendly, welcoming, and smiling. Any request was fulfilled instantly! The food at the restaurants was delicious, the rooms were spotless, and the facilities were great. We loved the clean pools, the fun water park, and the pristine beach with plenty of sun loungers available at all times. There was only one downside — my vacation ended way too fast! 😜 Two weeks flew by in a heartbeat in such an amazing place. I highly recommend Riu Bambu to everyone!

The pools were amazing. 2 men were especially helpful to us, and were tipped well before we left. Didn’t like the food that much. Very catered to Spanish patrons. Was nearly impossible to get service at the pool bar if you were white skinned. Spanish people came after us and most got served before us. Two men working the pool bar git very angry when I told them they made us wait 10 minutes when we were there before others. The room cleaners wouldn’t wash the bathroom floor unless we asked them to. Swept, yes but not washed.

Dominican Republic is beautiful! The rooms here are basic but spacious! Complimentary liquor bar in your room and all inclusive is awesome! The resort is lively , playful and exciting! We also ventured over to the other Riu Resorts which were high end and a you get the best of both worlds. There are limited things you can do because of your wrist band status but overall the staff try to give you the best experience. Loved it! I would definitely go back and experience all the Riu hotels

Food was not good at all not even traditional Dominican dishes. Roaches in the sports bar near the late night snacks. People smoking cigarette's and cigars all around including in the pool. Room was outdated (light fixtures broken and dresser drawers broken) not much entertainment at all compared to other Riu resorts.

Staff were friendly and useful however my room only had one working plug which i had to share back and forth with my roommate to charge my phone. Breakfast finished way too early and the food was no where near good. One of my beds was near broken and gave me a bad back. There’s also no golf carts. The Riu jungle party is advertised online as every Monday however when I arrived I learned that it’s every Tuesday

The hotel does not have golf carts to move around. You have to do a lot of walking in the heat to get to beach and restaurants. The restaurant staff are amazing. The resort also has a business with their own drivers ans so not let you order taxis or have anyone pick you up unless its someone thats paying them. They make guests walk miles to the entrance to meet their rides. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

There was a cockroach on my bed . I ask for 2 connecting rooms and it was not provided . The beach was filled with sea weed . We had no wifi for over 36 hrs . The only positive thing at the resort is the food and staff.
