The property is beautiful! The rooms are gorgeous & the staff is very nice. However, there is a BIG language barrier. I’m not saying they need to speak English, but at least have one person on staff in the restaurants that is proficient. There were many mistakes on our food and drink orders over simple words. The food is also not the best, the offerings are a bit weird. But the food hall wasn’t open yet, so maybe it will get better? But overall, the resort is lovely and the pool bar is AMAZING!

An Unforgettable Anniversary Vacation – Amazing Resort, Even More Amazing Staff! ❤️ From the moment we stepped out of the car, we felt genuinely welcomed! Our entire stay at Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana was absolutely incredible, but what truly made our experience unforgettable was the amazing staff. Every single person we encountered greeted us with a smile, worked incredibly hard, and went above and beyond to make us feel special. The hospitality here is truly something else! As for the resort itself, it exceeded our expectations in so many ways! The entire property was beautifully maintained and exceptionally clean. Our room was wonderful, and can we talk about the beds and sheets?! The quality was out of this world! We slept so comfortably every night. The pools were fantastic, and the food was absolutely delicious! Our favorite restaurant was Akari, which we enjoyed so much that we went back a second time during our stay! The entertainment and activities were another major highlight! We especially loved the Paint & Sip and the Mimosas Show, but every activity we participated in was enjoyable. There was always something fun happening, and the activities team did an incredible job creating such a lively, welcoming, and entertaining atmosphere. We found ourselves looking forward to seeing what each day would bring! My husband and I chose Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana to celebrate our second wedding anniversary, and we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful or memorable experience.

We had a great stay at Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana! The resort has a beautiful, modern aesthetic, and the rooms feel fresh, clean, and thoughtfully designed. For a newer property, the overall look and feel are impressive. One of the best parts of the resort was how peaceful and relaxing it felt. There were not many people during our stay, which made it easy to unwind and enjoy the property without feeling crowded. One downside was that the resort occasionally smelled like seaweed, especially in certain outdoor areas. What truly made our stay special were the hardworking people of the Dominican Republic. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and always worked hard to ensure guests felt well taken care of. A special shoutout to Ramon at the pool bar for making some of the best drinks we had during our stay! The ladies at the Wellness Bar were absolutely wonderful, and their smoothies were so refreshing. The ladies at Coco Café also deserve recognition for their warm, friendly service. They made every visit feel special. Since the buffet was not yet open during our stay, breakfast and lunch options were limited. However, the other restaurants were good and offered plenty of variety. I’m sure the dining experience will be even better once the buffet is fully operational. Overall, the beautiful property, peaceful atmosphere, and especially the warmth and hospitality of the staff made our stay memorable. 🇩🇴

To say I am very disappointed is an extreme understatement. My wife and I booked our stay with the Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana for our honeymoon in hopes of relaxation and enjoying a very casual dining experience at the as advertised food hall buffet they have in their listing. Upon arrival, we come to find this is not open and our only option is to have sit down dinners every night and have to dress up. After planning a 2 year wedding, we just wanted a very casual experience all around to relax and not have to worry. The first night, we try ordering room service as we were tired and didn’t want the hassle of dressing up for dinner. 2 hours, no show and to boot a $10 fee for room service? Especially being booked in the “Vantage Club” suites, we should not incur a service fee especially when we are very generous in tipping staff. This resort has excellent bar staff and activities teams but a lot of work is needed to get it to be a “5 Star Resort” like it’s advertised. If you open, even after delaying and not telling people, that should mean you’re 100% open and if you not, say that. Hyatt will have to work extremely hard to bring us back as customers as they completely missed the mark in meeting our expectations and handling our displeasure when notified it. Truly will think twice in the future before booking with Hyatt.

Our check in took longer than it should. We booked two rooms and staff couldn’t find both reservations. Requested to be near each other months before check in. We ended up staying on opposite ends of the floor. One of our rooms smelt of mildew or must and then we were moved to a different building all together facing a fence. Keep in mind this was a soft opening so there should have been rooms that had a better view.
