I liked the overall atmosphere, the beautiful design, and the fact that Barceló offers a good mix of comfort, entertainment, and amenities. What felt unique was the attention to the guest experience and the variety of things available in one place. Could feel a little too busy or crowded at the pools, beach area and cafeteria, especially during peak times.

The room was great, it was really clean, the pools were great. The restaurants were bad, the food was inconsistent. The beach was unusable, there was concrete under part of the sand, algae all over the beach and a really bad smell that took over the whole resort.

I stayed there because the beach supposed to be clear with blue water, but when I got there, seaweeds covered the beach and was not ideal for swimming. I loved the pool there because it was big and well maintained. Room was nice but the food was not good. My daughter and I both experienced diarrhea during our stay.

Me and my family of 4 stayed in barceló resorts for 6 days. The rooms are clean, the pools are also nice and clean. Buffets are okay, the foods are in a mid range but in general everything was nice. Everything is included as described & shown in pictures.

Room was clean , too much staff at the Buffet restaurant but the services need to be improved. The pool was clean but has so many missing tiles , a woman got injured . In general I had a good experience at this hotel , but they have to improve those issues in order to get real 5 stars.

The beach was not as expected as the last time I visited. But we knew we were taking a risk with the sargassum levels being higher than usual. Other than that, the staff was so helpful. The rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, and pools were nice. We enjoyed the kids Barcy Water Park. Very family friendly. The food was better than the first time. And would recommend eating at the Seafood restaurant or Kyoto. Thank you to Kevin at the front desk and Jonathan Batista who helped us during our stay. He booked our dinner reservations and stayed in contact with us to help in whatever way he could.

The property has beautiful, big pools. The room is big and specious, however, strong sewer smell in the bathroom and the bathroom would flush properly. In the dining room, strong smell, plates not super clean. Majority of staff do not speak English so communication can be limited. The small water park for little kids is fabulous! So much fun. The bigger water park, pirate ship is not so entertaining, small and you only get one entrance for free. The kids club is nice, however, the toys need to be thoroughly clean. Overall it’s good hotel, but can definitely improve and do better.

I traveled there with my family. The resort was beautiful! We stayed in a family duplex and the kids loved it because they had their own loft. Room was clean and housekeeping was always helpful and kept our room clean. The sports bar bartenders were very friendly. The regular buffet was good. It had something for everyone. We made reservations at two restaurants. The Mexican restaurant and the Italian restaurant. My favorite was the Italian restaurant. The pools were beautiful and the water lounge chairs were nice. They had games, water aerobics and a dance class. Check in and check out was fast and efficient. I definitely recommend this resort. It was a 5 star for my family and me.

We had a great time! All the amenities are good. The entertainment by the pool was amazing.. Kenny made our stay very fun. Everything was perfect except for the food, which was turn off .. Didn’t like the seafood Restaurant at all. The buffet food was really bad. Dry rice, liquid beans, and always the same thing., the resort over all is really nice and lots of things to do. But there’s not really nothing included. No free water sports, the water park and bowling alley you need to pay. Other than those things I mentioned is a nice place. If they changed the food I will definitely go back again.

We just stayed at this resort for five nights. We like the room set up, but noticed the floors were not completely clean and the bedsheets had hair on them. I had to request new sheets and still was unsure if they actually changed the sheets or just cleaned off the hair. The door handle to the room fell off, the closet door kept jamming, the safety box was not working and neither was the phone. The food in the buffet was ok, the mixed drinks were not good so I stuck to champagne or beer. The staff are friendly and kind. The spa was the best experience of this trip for me. My daughter really enjoyed the Kids Club and mini water park.
