Food was great. Service was good. Rooms were VERY outdated and some of them had bug infestation. Bathrooms needed repairs in most rooms (bathtub paint was peeling, sink was clogged). Staff was accommodating when we raised these issues.

It’s beautiful resort excellent amenities and the staff around very friendly. I recommend you to upgrade to the VIP bracelet. The only bad thing was the check-in no coordination people skipping the line and took 1hr+ only one family ahead of me to check in on a Saturday and TV remote wasn’t working called the front desk they said someone was on their way and 4 days later still waiting. Other than that beautiful resort to enjoy alone, as a couple or family.

They are working hard Don't forget your housekeeper Hotel Cofresi is big and beautiful Well maintenance but all the public bathroom smells PEE ( men's bathroom) Please have someone to clean regularly I stayed in room 42102 for 8 night was beautiful compared room I stayed in the past You have showtime every night at 9:30pm at the COLOSSEUM ALSO POOL PARTY once a week Its a good Hotel I will be back for an another 8 times but clean the public bathroom

Family-friendly atmosphere I have a disability its not handicapped accessible no accommodating elevators rooms was well kept housekeeping was excellent had a ceiling fan but my room had no working air conditioning in my room I reported several times I was eventually offered a room change on the 5 day of my 6 day vacation and was compensated for one night. Alittle Unorganized but overall a nice property.

The property was beautiful BUT way too big. Getting lost was easy and I really like being able to walk to where I want to go. This place boast 12+ pools, many restaurants and a big beach. So true but you can only use so many pools and get to so many restaurants. The food at the buffets left a lot to be desired. Surprisingly, not a lot of fruit? The breakfast items were overcooked and not a great deal of selection. Oh, the tour and showing us the penthouses was great! Wow, live like a movie star with your own personal cook! We fortunately were close to the beach and the lounge area was really nice with shade. I guess I'd just like to have had better food, otherwise a lovely place to relax.

I will start by saying I’m a returning customer of the cofresi palm beach and spa resort, I wanted to give my in-laws a wonderful experience In they first ever all inclusive. We travel in a family group of 8 and our room was not ready when we got to the check in, after they gave as our rooms the where not completed properly, the mini fridge complementary beverage was not there and we call the front desk and costumer service multiple times and never filled them up, is you purchasing with Expedia and expect vip treatment., forget about it unless you request to pay extra fees to get more access and a better experience, you will get the regular blue bracelet otherwise. The food was not good and there was not much to choose from, lunch and dinner were almost the same. WillI recommend or go back again I highly doubt that. Some of the staff were great and some were extremely rude. Again this is my personal experience and like I always said you be the one to determine what you think about it.

If you are looking for an authentic dominican experience, this isn’t the right resort for you. Personally I felt like the buffet wasn’t that great, it didn’t taste like authentic dominican food and on multiple occasions the food from the grill was raw. Staff were good but at times it felt like they demanded tip for the service. Cleanliness was a 10/10. The room service was a 10/10 and super friendly. Life style resorts as a whole really try to push the membership on you upon arrival. Two hours were taken out of resort to show us the different amenities that comes with the membership when we specifically said we were not interested. Futhermore the beach was private and separate into 3 different parts dependent on your membership status. The beach was dirty to be quite frank and a lot of rocks in the ocean. Honestly would rate my experience a 5.5/10, needs a lot of improvements.

The resort itself is beautiful, with a great atmosphere and plenty of space to relax. I really enjoyed having several different pools to choose from, and the beach was definitely one of the highlights of our stay—beautiful and very enjoyable. That said, there were a few disappointing areas. The drinks were probably my biggest complaint. Most of the cocktails tasted very cheap, overly sweet, and processed. I ended up sticking with beer for most of the trip. Even though the beer sometimes tasted a little watered down, it was still the better option. The food was okay—not amazing, but enough to get by. Out of the options we tried, the buffet at Casa Blanca was probably the best and most consistent. Transportation around the resort could also be frustrating. The shuttle comes about every 25 minutes, which becomes a problem when there are shows or events. The buses get extremely crowded, and if you can’t get on, you’re stuck waiting another 25 minutes. After one of the shows, we ended up walking about 20 minutes back to our hotel rather than waiting for another shuttle. Overall, the pools, beach, and resort grounds were beautiful and enjoyable, but the quality of the drinks, average food, and inconvenient shuttle system took away from the experience. If beautiful pools and beach access are your main priorities, you may enjoy staying here, but if good food, quality drinks, and convenience are important to you, I would definitely keep these things in mind before booking.

Our stay at this resort was subpar and left alot to be desired. We certainly had low expectations after reading the reviews and watching videos, however we still wanted to see for ourselves. Unfortunately, most were right. Check-in: smooth but they seem to be overwhelmed and in need of training. The front desk seems old and not well kept. Room: the Cofresi side seems in need of upgrades. Our room was ok but nothing that stood out. AC worked which is a plus. Hot water came and left sporadically. Beds were comfortable. Cleaning crew seemed active, yet on some days I saw one of them sleeping on a chair by the staircase. Pools/beach: Pool chairs, beach chairs all seem old and worn. Pools were cleaned daily, but always seemed dirty. Beach was rough for swimming. NO seaweed on that side of the island, certainly a plus! A few vendors on beach for souvenirs. Food: Buffett La perla was ok and food was warm, never hot. My wife got sick on day two. Although the CasaBlanca Buffett presented better, they to was subpar. The PILON for snacks, was even worse. The restaurants on site were ok. We ate at Indochine(food was not good at all), immediately made my way to the buffet right after. Bellini:Food there was great. Pizza was delicious. It was a mission getting reservations at orher places. Two hour window at guest services( not very guest friendly) for reservations. We used Destination Services for our transportation since Uber was misleading. Alll in all, we made tje best of it.

Our stay was a mixed experience. Check-in took over an hour. I understand large families ahead of us had their own issues, but there should have been another employee handling those situations while regular check-in continued. After checking in, nobody showed us where our room was, so we had to carry our luggage around and ask employees for directions. Our room was huge and clean, but it was a connecting room and the family next door had children making noise until around 1 AM. The pools were nice, but the resort needs maintenance. The main swim-up bar was closed, one pool had plastic cups everywhere and looked dirty, and some chairs were broken. The buffet food was good with different options each day, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The resort bars were also good. The beach had few chairs and vendors constantly approached us, so we didn’t spend much time there. We did enjoy the foam party at the neighboring resort. A major issue was the shuttle driver taking us to a pool at another resort that turned out to be VIP-only. We were allowed to enter and even get in the pool before being told to leave. We understand restricted areas, but nobody warned us beforehand, which was embarrassing and unnecessary. The Brazilian steakhouse was excellent—10/10! At checkout, we learned we had to return the blue towels/towel cards or pay $20. This wasn’t clearly explained at check-in, so we had to return to our room. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend/return.

Me and my wife came to this resort 4 years ago. And while it wasn’t Incredible by any means back then. It was nice, clean and the food was edible. Fast forward to present day, the resort has fell apart. Everything looks old and wasn’t maintained over the years. The pools had plastic cups in and around the pool every single day. Our first room has a broken mini fridge, a safe with no lock, and while I was in the middle of my first shower, the shower exploded and was spraying water all over the place. Staff was also terrible.no managers on site. No staff members wanted to help. When I asked the staff to stock the mini fridge they told them they were on their way. I waited hours. No one came. After dinner I spoke to the front desk staff member and he said they are coming to stock mini fridge. I asked when. He said tomorrow morning. The never came then either. Food was horrible. Left overs from prior days. Baked goods all stale and old. They served hotdogs at every meal and bunch of different ways. No food was actually edible. This place should be shut down. Oh. Almost forgot that the toilet in our room didn’t flush. Had to use the ice bucket filled with water to flush it each time. Room would smell of sewage in the afternoon every single day. Do not come to this resort. Save your money and go somewhere else. Not work a single penny

The food was one of the highlights of our trip. There was always an excellent selection of meals and snacks available throughout the day, and everything we tried was fresh, high quality, and delicious. The beverage selection was good, although the variety was somewhat limited. The resort is very family-friendly. We appreciated the dedicated kids’ pool, along with several other pools that had shallow 1–2 ft sections perfect for little ones. The kids’ club for children ages 4–12 looked like a great amenity for families with older kids. We also loved seeing lifeguards stationed at the pools, which added an extra sense of safety. Our biggest frustration was the infant crib situation. The resort could not guarantee crib availability until we arrived at reception, which made planning ahead difficult when traveling with a baby. We ended up bringing our own pack-and-play for peace of mind. One thing to keep in mind is that the resort is very large, with many amenities spread quite far apart. The complimentary shuttles, which run about every 30 minutes, were essential because the walks can be long, especially in the heat. Overall, we had a great experience with excellent food, beautiful family-friendly facilities, and attentive safety measures. A few logistical improvements would make this a five star stay.

They need to work on the check in. Took about 2 hours . The AC needs to be upgraded. Seemed to never get cold or cool always felt stuffy. Personal needs to better explain how the buffet and food system works. When you’re leaving the buffet area you have employees trying to sell you upgrades or membership subscription. We were here for only 2 nights wasted about 4 hours even though we had told them no. They’re like vultures hovering over you. No night life. The shows were great. Beach was excellent. Rooms were clean. Fridge was full.
