Hotel Spa & Boutique catered to me and my family & children.. It is a beautiful relaxing place to stay.. The Sky Bar was phenomenal and there is an area if you take your child for them to use the smaller pool.. We scheduked Massage services and the staff is well experienced!! I wish I lived here! I will return definitely! The ocean view is spectacular. Zicatela Beach us a good 5 blocks area walk but if you rented a car then you'll arrive there in 3-4 minutes.. Although please note , the beach is not for swimming, the waves are very dangerous but you can watch the beautiful beach scenery from the many restaurants and beach clubs chair lounges available.. you will not regret it..

The hotel is clean, the pool was under renovation so we couldn't use it, the ocean view is very good, however, the main road is only about 20 feet away. The windows in these rooms are not soundproof, so it's difficult to sleep due to the loud noise from motorcycles and cars. If you stay at this hotel, choose rooms without an ocean view, as that's where it's noisiest. An exceptional improvement that would help this hotel would be to replace the windows with soundproof ones. I hope the owners take this recommendation into account.

Overall ok,but a bit expensive for what it was. No hot water, luckily it was hot enough to be ok. One thing I did appreciate was that we could use pool even after we checked out.

Elevator not working USB port in wall in room didn’t work No guests allowed in room or pool area. TV or remote did not work. One soda machine that only takes coins. No paper money. Hotel staff could not make change for me. No ice machine. Fancy rainfall shower head not so good. Sparse flow of water. Not much of a rainfall. VERY NOISY as it is on Main Street. Very loud traffic. Full service spa??? False advertising. No spa. No hot tub like the picture shows. My room looked nothing like the pictures. Room smelled like moist clay. Smell absorbed in all my cloths. No restaurant. Again false advertising. Pros Seems to be clean enough. Convenient location. I guess you get what you pay for.

I think there was no problem with location or cleaning. There was also aircondition in the room. The problem was this spa hotel and infinity pool you see in the pictures is really small. I could not get in as there was a family of 4 people they were in all day long so there was no space for me left. Also they try to make you sign a paper which included the statement as “the hotel is not responsible for your lost goods in the room” which was strange so i did not sign it. Otherwise it was fine, and hotel is close to beach but not next to it. You should walk like 10 minutes to access. The beach of zicatela is nice but for surfers only not for swimming!

Front desk staff was great. Unfortunately the switch for one of the beside reading lamps was broken, so the light could not turned off!! I arrived late to the hotel, around midnight because of flight delays. I didn’t notice the switch on the light was broken until I was ready for bed around 1:30am. By then I was in my pjs and very tired and took the decision to not go to the front desk to complain- I didn’t even know if there was another room they could move me too. I put a t shirt over the light and went to sleep. The next day I asked if they could do a late check out - 1 hour- and they asked for 100 pesos. Usually this would have been no problem but I didn’t feel like it was fair since they knowingly rent out a room with a broken light (no way they didn’t know, looks like it has been broken for awhile). Total turn off. Manager said since I didn’t come and let the front desk know at 1:30am there was nothing they can do. Please fix your rooms. Absolutely ridiculous situation.

I've been a guest at Hotel DC Boutique y Spa Since 2019! Miguel at recepción y Raúl in the SKY Bar were Very attentive, positive y Helpful. I came January 10th por la mañana y Miguel helped me with signing in y I would go to meetings in Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca México and retiran After 3 pm to Actually enter My room. I Left My bag with Miguel. When I returned around 5 pm Itmal was at the check-in desk, Said he DIDN'T see the bag I Left with Miguel y Wasn't too interested in looking for It. He had The Same demeanor when I asked for a pool towel. I also asked to have a small container of ice sent to My room, as the hotel cómplied with in Each of My previous stays There. Itmal said I Could go up to the Rooftop bar to get ice. Not very Helpful. I returned to My room The Next Afternoon, Saturday The 11th , to find that it had NOT Been cleaned. It has ALWAYS been cleaned Daily in my 6 años visiting the hotel. Itmal told me they don't Clean Daily y I'd have to request that ahead of time. I asked Miguel the next morning if that TRUE what Itmal said about My Having to ask for It to be cleaned y he Said NO, NOT TRUE! Nor Did Itmal send Someone to Clean the room after I complained That No One cleaned it after The First night. VERY UNPROFESIONAL on Itmal's part y I found him to be useless, gross y Arrogant! Miguel was Very concerned on My Having a Great Return visit to the hotel. Raúl in the Rooftop bar was Execelente y Very courteous y Fun! Itmal was MAL - That's BAD en Español!!!!

It was walking distance from Zicatela Beach and near an Oxxo for late night essentials. A pizza place opened up the day we left, so if you’re tired and unsure of what to eat, options are a pizza place to the right and a taco joint to the left.
