Rooms were clean. Good value in Rupert for the money. They are working on updating and it shows. Employees were friendly. Breakfast also excellent. Only issue is the heating/cooling. The rooms were so hot, which is the case whenever we stay here. Thankfully they did provide some fans in each room. All in all we were still content staying here and will stay again.

Wonderful staff, family friendly (we had a toddler in tow)…clean room..good water pressure in the shower (honestly that’s a big deal!!!)…grocery store across the street for snacks. The room has a fridge and freezer which was lovely and convenient! We really enjoyed our stay!

This must be an old building, the carpet in my room could use more cleaning or new carpet. They can toss the vintage dresser and wash or replace the dirty fabric winged back chair. The staff is very friendly especially Emmet, the breakfast opens early @ 0500 but would be nice if the hot food was served at this time as well. Parking not convenient, can only accommodate few cars and or with a minimum 6 ft tall cars, otherwise you will parked at the save on parking lot.

Check-in was smooth and efficient, allowing us to view the room prior to accepting the stay. Staff was available and helpful, when requested. Room was clean, organized and comfortable. Bonus breakfast in the morning with coffee available, was enjoyable. Close enough to activities in the city, but far enough away that noise wasn’t an issue. Also super convenient to be next to the grocery store! Would stay again.

I was so very appreciative that staff allowed me to check in early (off a very early BC Ferry from Haida Gwaii)! I was able to catch breakfast and take a nap before starting my day. They were very helpful and kind. The cleaning staff were also very helpful in getting me a new door sign for Do not Disturb. The only thing that I missed out on was a plug for the tub, but I'm sure I could have asked for one. I did noticed that the bathroom sink might have been a bit plugged, water pooled as I was washing my face. However, none of that was an issue for my one night stay. I had a great room facing the street and it was quiet (especially for a Friday night). It was kind of odd that one bed was a few inches lower than the other, but also not a big deal. All in all, it was great :)
