It is an older, bare bones lodging under renovation so not perfect at this point but it was very reasonably priced with a clean room and comfortable beds. Manager Walt (and his family) live on the premises and were available at any time. Visiting with them made me feel like I was staying with an old friend. I look forward to visiting them again and seeing the progress.

The plus side Walt who runs the place is a helpful man he got me some cold water the room was clean and the shower hot But it desperately needs to be refurbished although I understand that’s in the pipeline We didn’t have breakfast

Recently renovated room, dog friendly, and they are very accommodating. Pleasant stay after a lot of hiking in national parks, loved that it was off the main road in Powell - a bit quieter. I liked the keypad entry - felt more secure especially after tons of issues with keycards/rooms on the road.

Great room at a great price!

Don’t judge a book by its cover! This place is definitely a diamond in the rough. It may not look like much on the outside, but the room was fantastic! Clean, newly remodeled on the inside with a very comfortable bed. We slept very well and the price is amazing! Staff was super friendly and very accommodating. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice, comfortable place to stay.

These are just THE nicest people who run the motel. The room was HUGE! Bed, pillows and coverings were so comfy. It was SO nice and cool. Bathroom was so great with a huge soaking tub and great shower. There is a private patio outside the back door where it was SO nice and quiet with a beautiful view. We slept so good! The little community felt safe. You DO have to go 7 min down the road to Ennis for meals (ate at 287 Tavern), it was great! I would stay here again.

Walt was great! Room was exactly what we needed! We got to visit with some other guests and some of the other staff working on the remodel. Had a lovely time! The newly renovated rooms are well appointed, comfortable bed and pillows. The A/c kept us cool and we loved the organized kitchenette. Great get away spot to visit the Powell and Cody areas! The yellow doors are super cute!

Beds were great. Easy check in. No coffee pot , took forever to get hot water, bathroom sink did not drain well, could not find anyone to get different towels, could smell the cigarette smoke as the front door did not seal completely could see light through it, did sleep do to next door tv blaring all night.
