Who wouldn't want to stay at this historic location! Though we were in a room that was not part of the old building, the room was nice and clean, the breakfast was wonderful, the staff so very nice. I love this place, this town.

The room at the Beekman was excellent. Spacious and clean with a working gas fireplace (in Townsend house). The problem lies with breakfast. It was a couple of blocks from the main building which was ok but it was a bit lacking. Many bread items, bagels, pastries and hard-boiled eggs. There was fresh fruit and coffee. Even though it was advertised as continental, an historic hotel like this should provide some hot items, even if they have to raise their price a bit. (For a full hot breakfast, Pete's Famous is only a block away) Otherwise, a nice stay!

The Inn is a great historical building. Just be careful when booking. We ended up at a different location a couple blocks away. It was totally my fault for not asking more questions. Where we stayed, courtyard building 61, room was spotless and decorated nicely to theme. Mattress was good but bed was horribly noisy! Lol

Very beautiful and historic. The property and the town. A bit enchanting. Nice boutique, locally owned shops. Fees like you stepped back in time. The room in the courtyard, Courtyard Double, was huge. It had a kitchenette type area with microwave, coffee maker and refrigerator, sitting area with a decanter of cream sherry, gas fire place. When you step outside, there is a beautiful view of delamater house and Fall foliage. Stunning. Breakfast was a few steps away. Quaint breakfast bldg. Breakfast itself was pastries, yogurt, fresh fruit, coffee , juice, cereal, etc. No cooked hot food. It was good though.
