This property was very clean and easy to access. It lack an assortment of cooking condiments, although it has some. The rubbish bins outside were full and upon asking a neighbor about the pickup day, received negative feedback about the owners not doing basics, like taking out the garbage.
This place was nice and we were able to wash our clothes and relax in the living room. However, for the price, it was overpriced and we took it due to the lack of other lodging in the area. It met our needs and we were able to see Skye.
Fantastic home - comfortable, roomy, close to everything. Was nice place to have on a rainy, dreary day.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, listing accuracy
There are many great things about the Cottage. Location close to Portree is at the top of the list. The interior was clean. Nice linens. Washer and dryer worked well, but it would have been nice to have a couple of laundry detergent pods to get started on a load after travel. This is NOT a place for a short term traveler. Unlike a hotel, which would have a coffee and tea service in the room, Pebble Cottage had nothing. So you arrive at 17:00 and are expected to go out shopping immediately. End result is there is no coffee or tea, or sugar, or sweetener, or milk, or cream, in the early morning while local breakfast places open relatively late. The cottage should have a pod-coffee machine with a few pods (Caf and DeCaf) to get you started. On the high side there were two 4-slice toasters! The back patio was unusable for two reasons: No furniture and weeds growing through the planks. The back lawn has not been mowed this season. There is covered porch in sad condition that hasn’t been swept in months. The chairs in it are not suitable for use without a thorough scrubbing. The entry mat is my first indication of attention to detail. It was loaded with dirt. It appears to never have been cleaned or swept under. We are Americans, so had never seen a wall-mounted water heater/shower system. Fortunately the property manager responded quickly to let us know we had to turn it on using a wall switch outside the bath. Plan ahead and at this price, and find something else.
Loved our stay here! We should have stayed for a week! Hosts made it feel just like your home away from home and had a really wonderful guide. We will be back! :)

The cotrage was lovely, except that the rangehood didn’t work so it got quite smelly when cooking.
Pebble Cottage was a beautiful retreat. It was the perfect stay for our time on Skye. Quiet, lots of space in the cottage for a family and close to Portree Harbour and easy to get around. Thank you so much for hosting us we had a wonderful stay.
