This hotel was the ideal base for my solo trip to Porto. The location made walking everywhere effortless, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and felt very safe. Plus, the team made getting to the airport seamless by arranging my transit. Highly recommend!

Easy, central location with beautiful renovation and/or modern interior design. The staff is excellent! In Building 1 you can here a lot of the comings/goings of guests and the pool was a little too cool for me; however, it was beautiful to look at. The terrace and garden is as pretty as the interiors. Quality sheets, towels, robe, etc.

The property was in a great location. Walkable to all that Porto offers. It had a nice pool and a nice breakfast was great. The restaurant for supper was also nice although under staffed. Our room had with a small balcony overlooking the pool but it was very dirty. Also we were there for four nights but only given one bottle of water. We had to buy more from the mini bar. In all a nice hotel but I wouldn’t call it 5 star.

This was my favorite hotel we stayed in during our trip to Portugal. I want to go back to Porto just to revisit the hotel! The pool was amazing if you are going during the spring / summer months, rooms were spacious and the beds so comfortable! The front desk staff were so gracious with recommendations. The grounds themselves provided the best nooks for reading and relaxing after a day of sightseeing around Porto.

This is simply "not" a five-star hotel. There is a hodgepodge of four different buildings that were never meant to fit together. We stayed in what was once a barn, converted to four rooms that was lovely but very small. There was no desk or otherwise meaningful space. We (traveled with partner) were constantly apologizing to each other as we were tripping over each other. The shower door did not close properly, so the bathroom flooded after each use. The location was good. The service was questionable. We never had cleaning service on our final day of a 4-night stay, rendering us the emergency late-night call for towels and toilet paper - travel days can be stressful; this didn't help. Also, at check in, we were told breakfast was included. At checkout, they seemed to have changed their mind. There are better options at this price-point. I will not return.

The food at Le Palais restaurant including the breakfast buffet was absolutely delicious, the room was impeccably clean with a beautiful design, and the overall atmosphere was amazing. There was a plumbing issue with our first room during our stay. Not to mention a stain to one of the bedsheets and toothbrush cup with white substance at the bottom of the cup. Hotel was able to switch us to a different room but there was a foul smell coming through the washroom in the evening. The courtyard was nice and good place to relax. Welcome drink was a nice touch.
