It was a lovely stay at this guest house. The place was very clean and within walking distance to the beach, as a plus. There were good restaurants and supermarkets nearby, and the neighborhood felt quiet and safe. Overall, it was a very lovely experience.

Excellent place with very good prices for area. Irina who prepares the breakfast is fantastic and she entertained my baby every morning. Make sure that you message in advance for door code as this is not a 24/7 hotel, it’s a guest house, so plan arrival accordingly.

Like living in a coastal village

I stayed for 4 nights. The place is well situated between the market and the ocean. It was like staying in a coastal village rather than in a big city. If you're walking the Camino de Santiago, then Foz is on your way to Santiago de Compestela!

Overall is a fantastic guesthouse and breakfast is complete and abundant. Only thing is that I had to expressly request to change the towels after 3 days although they were clearly dirty. A 9/10! 👌

The hotel was tidy and nice. Comunicating was horrofying. As it was a business trip, a receipt is nesecary, but without english speaking staff it was not possible to process on sight

Had difficulty booking in as no email received but host v helpful on the phone. Place to store bike safely, sea at the end of the road, warm rolls plus croissants for breakfast and easy to access city without the hassle of crowds. Plumbing a bit smelly but otherwise a v v comfortable status.

Very nice guesthouse. We feel good and very safe in it (i was alone and felt really confortable and in security). Rooms with lots of lights, high ceiling. Very close to the beach and the shopping street of Foz do Douro - very charming city! I would recommend ! One thing that coule be improved : i would have liked to have a human contact with the guesthouse owner/manager. This is missing. Would have liked to get recommendations from that person, and a human welcome.

My stay was excellent; however, there are minor maintenance details that should be fixed. Broken fixtures in the bathroom door as well as the glass door in the shower. Front door with some tear in the paint and no headrest for the bedroom are the main issues. Again, minor details but I think they should be fixed if possible to mantain the charm of the place. The ceiling in the breakfast room has paint peeling. The place is peaceful and located near the beach, super convenient with restaurants and places to walk. Will stay here my next visit.

Es war alles okay. Ich hatte das kleine Einzelzimmer. Bad war sehr klein aber für eine Person völlig ausreichend. Was nur ein wenig nervig war, war dass die Türe immer geklappert hat, wenn man das Fenster offen hatte. Aber ich habe einfach eine Tüte in den Schlitz gesteckt, dann ging es. Frühstück war einfach und stand schon auf dem Tisch bereit. Aber auch das völlig gereicht. Die Croissants waren super köstlich
