Loved our stay here during to the close vicinity to everything but quiet enough for some relaxation. Transportation may be an issue as the street roads are very narrow but still very close to the main road. Would stay here again when I’m back!

Wonderful, charming Hotel. Lovely rooms, helpful and friendly staff and gorgeous rooftop view while sipping cocktail! I would highly recommend this hotel just be prepared to walk the cobblestone path to the hotel entrance!

It was a lovely experience. We were able to stay close to the city center without getting caught up in the all the tourist traps and chaos. The rooftop drinks during sunset were great and the lobby areas were a joy to relax in. Breakfast was a delicious spread that was perfect and the fire opening of a wine bottle that we signed up for was one of the highlights of the trip. We'd highly recommend a stay here.

Amazing hotel and staff! The hotel common areas (lounge and restaurant) and the rooms were clean, beautiful and modern while still maintaining a classic/ traditional look. The staff was so friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Additionally, the restaurant is fabulous! Delicious menu.

The hotel was beautiful and the location was great. Unfortunately, some of the staff made us feel quite uncomfortable. There were definitely a few lovely ones, but others came across as snobby and almost looked down on us, as though they were doing us a favour by having us there. Such a shame, because the hotel itself is really lovely.

We enjoyed our stay at Timbre Virtudes. We property is unique with is old stone work and hugh timbers. This created a warm and beauty atmosphere. I recommend a room with a balcony to enjoy. The staff was wonderful. They helped coordinate a surprise bubbles for travel companions with ease. They were always available to answer questions and give great recommendations on where to eat. Breaksfast was better than I excepted with hot items included. The staff and hotel made our stay in Porto enjoyable. We will be back.

The setting was very beautiful, in the oldest section of the city but very close, less than 10 minute walk to center of the historic center, waterfront and down train shopping area. The interior of the hotel was renovated and modern but retained stone walls and features from medieval period. The bedding and bathroom shower was wonderful. But what was most extraordinary was the service and staff. We’ve never experienced a hotel staff as solicitous and attentive as this. The staff operated as a true team and were incredibly responsive and welcoming. We loved our stay here and would recommend this very enthusiastically to anyone visiting Porto.

This was a fabulous property for us to stay during our visit to Porto. While tucked away it provides a quiet respite during a busy trip and is close enough to restaurants and the city centre. The staff went above and beyond to help us feel comfortable. I look forward to our return to this gem.

Hidden gem. Beautiful modern hotel blended perfectly with old world charm. Staff was friendly, helpful and professional. Rooms were clean and stylish. Loved the rooftop bar for cocktails and dessert. Breakfast buffet was perfect before heading to the airport. Highly recommended!

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and updated. Our room was next to the elevator so we didn’t like the noise, but we’re only in Porto for one night so it was alright with us. We only had breakfast at the hotel and selection was just minimum. Location was great, easy to walk to all sights. We had lunch at Terreiro restaurant in ribeira and the squid was phenomenal. It was a recommendation from the staff at timbre virtudes. Overall, the hotel was great!
