We had a great experience at Hotel Zags, the room was very clean, the sheets and bed were comfortable. The property had a lot of amenities, the arcade games were fun, the shuffle board was fun, they have a game room & plenty to do. The breakfast is just a standard bagels, fruit, cereal which was good. It wasn't difficult to find but there are a lot of one ways surrounding the property & it is located on the corner so just pay attention.

The hotel has seen better days. Room was tiny; bathroom was small with moldy caulking; breakfast was passable; parking was expensive. I recommend guests park in nearby lots ; in fact, when the hotel is full, they cannot accommodate all guest vehicles. Front desk staff were pleasant and helpful. Not at the level advertised.

We loved this hotel. It had so many things to offer. The front desk staff is one of the best. The kids loved the free arcade games and checking out the Nintendo Switch. We will recommend The Hotel Zags to people we know traveling to Portland.
