The location of the property was amazing! It was nice being a little ways from the downtown area but still having things in walking distance. The view of the marina was breathtaking! Less than 5 minute walk from a small rocky beach. Easy parking in the back of the property.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, our room was beautiful and exceptionally clean, and the property itself is truly one of a kind. Every detail made our stay feel special. Hotel was being renovated. It was very clean and the location is awesome. There was no breakfast but there was free coffee all day long. The building was very quaint. The nearby restaurants were very good. Can't wait to visit again when the renovations are done.

We are old people and they put us in a separate small old building without decent parking and we had to carry luggage up steps. Also, there was a loud event whereby guests took over the whole place. Guests should be told no elevator and if a noisy event will be consuming the already limited space. Eight children were standing on the porch barking loudly for no reason at all. Parents were leaving their children unattended so they could attend the party. On a positive note, the view was beautiful and there were some Adirondack chairs that we would have enjoyed if they weren’t constantly filled. Bed was comfy. Shower was decent.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Our view from our room was of the harbor, with moored lobster boats and waves breaking in the distance. The staff were friendly, warm, and accommodating. If you are looking for a romantic, iconic Kennebunkport hotel, this is it.

Hotel is in the middle of a remodel. Was supposed to have queen bed got a full. Other than that room was remodled nicely. Pillows weren't the greatest. No complimentary breakfast as was mentioned when booking. AC/ Heating very loud.When the remodel is finished it will be a nice little place to stay for a weekend.
