We stayed at the Harbor Hotel for a weekend away from the kids for my husbands 40th birthday. It was lovely! The courtyard is so peaceful, the design of the hotel overall is impeccable, and the staff was great. I would definitely stay there again.

Mateen at the front desk completely made my wife and I's trip. We came for a weekend getaway from NYC to get some fresh oysters and lobster and his recommendations were both outside of anything I was able to find in my research online and were all fantastic. We even went back to his oyster recommendation twice in our 2 day vacation because the recommendation was that great (The Shop by Island Creek Oysters)

The hotel was clean and comfortable. It's in a great location for sightseeing in Portland and all of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. We loved the little things like the flavored seltzers and snacks by the elevators on our floor. We didn't eat in the restaurant, but had a drink and sat by the beautiful gas firepit. There was live music that night which was great. All around a great stay.

Great location, lovely patio/courtyard. The only complaint is that we visited at a peak time (camp visiting weekend) so we paid at least 2x what would otherwise feel like appropriate price for the quality of hotel. All in all,though, definitely recommend the hotel!

We had a comfortable stay of just one night. Our room was clean and comfortable. Though we did not eat at the restaurant, the bar was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. It is a well-maintained older hotel. Would definitely stay there again; but for a longer period to enjoy the courtyard and other amenities and see more of Portland.

The main issue with this hotel were the prices. $45 per day to park. $18 for an ordinary glass of wine. $6 for a piece of toast at breakfast. The wait staff was excellent though.
