It’s so close to the Dunes. And easy to get to food but must drive. It’s older and could stand to be remodeled and cleaned up a bit. Service was great and breakfast was very good.

I was overall disappointed with the experience based on the price of the room. Hot tub was not up to temperature, there were no towels in the pool area and outside trash cans were overflowing and raccoons were eating what was on the ground. TV “free on demand” would not download anything. Room was clean. Staff was good. Breakfast was average. Expected more for the price.

Our bed sheets and covers on both beds had red splotches on them. The man at the front desk assured us it wasn’t blood when he brought us new, clean linens but I wasn’t convinced. The hotel smelled very damp and there were construction trucks parked right outside our room that left around 4 or 5am every morning and it wasn’t something you could sleep through. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful however.

My wife and I had a very nice 2 night stay at this hotel. When it comes to evaluating the rooms and conditions, I look to my wife for her opinion since she is much more critical than I am. Her comments were positive and she was satisfied with the cleanliness and comfort of the room and beds. Our room had a single king size bed so there was plenty of room to move about. The room price was reasonable and the breakfast each morning was good as well. The only comment I would have is that this is obviously an older building judging from the exterior color of the building and could probably use some new carpeting in the halls and rooms. Perhaps replacing the carpeting in the rooms with laminate or other similar flooring material would be a better choice. Otherwise our stay was good and we would book again. We chose this location because we wanted to visit Indiana Dunes National Park and it was very convenient to get to the park.

Decently clean. But staff SUCKED. Also, the lazy excuse for breakfast. I got a fruit punch and it tasted like it was laced with alcohol. Wet floors and carpets with no signs. Almost slipped on more than one occasion. Do better.
