“The breakfast was amazing and really delicious. The chef asked about any dietary restrictions (we had none) but so very thoughtful. The grounds looked a bit ragged and not up kept. The room was very nice, but there was a communal refrigerator, which was not ideal. We brought a cooler with ice to store drinks. The location was ideal. Close to the center of town, about a half a mile and many options for lunch and dinner. ”

“Great place to stay right in Keene Valley. Everything was great. Bed was comfortable. The blinds however needed fixed in our room. Part of them were broken off.”

“The room was clean, but had a strong artificial perfume scent, as if Fabreze had been sprayed on everything, including my pillow! It may have been from scented detergent or scented dryer sheets. It was overwhelming and as I am very sensitive to scents, I hated it. They should NOT use scented anything in a motel room. Impossible to get away from! ”

“We had a wonderful stay at the Old Lantern Inn in Charlotte VT. Our room was large with a king and a twin bed and views of Lake Champlain. The inn was very quiet and clean. We can’t say enough about the innkeeper Lisa; she went above and beyond to ensure that not only were our needs met, but our expectations exceeded. Continental breakfast is modest but tasty. There are only 8 rooms in the inn and it has a family feel. Guests seem to really enjoy talking to other guests & sharing local...
