The room was recently renovated and very clean. The bed and pillows excellent. Nice amenities like a Keurig coffee machine with pods and creamers! Nice mini fridge and freezer & microwave. Plot back but the lake is across the street through a public access.

All communications from the staff were timely and easy to understand, considering there is nobody physically on-site, it took a second to understand. The rooms were clean and neatly kept, with every amenity one could ask for. The best part was the proximity to downtown Port Austin, less than a 5 min drive and you’re where you want to be. I would highly recommend staying at the Sun and Sand, I know we will when we venture back!

The room and bathroom were so adorable and very clean! I oftentimes have anxiety about staying somewhere out of fear it will not be clean, but this place exceeded my expectations. It had a cute and functional coffee machine which was so nice. I am for sure coming back one day!

If your looking for a comfortable bed and fairly clean but updated room this is the place for you. Otherwise, floors were dirty (sandy) and housekeeping left a dirty towel hanging on the back of the bathroom door. (Gross) Pool didn't even have water in it so was not open even though website and Expedia says it is. I would be hard pressed to stay here again.
