We left early due to our discomfort

From the website, La Villa Serere should be a lovely stay but what we found in the comfort apartment was a dirty bathroom with broken furniture, broken outdoor kitchen and broken generator as our view. The villa kitchen is filthy and covered in bugs that the staff was sending breakfast out of. Being so close to the airport and a newer construction this place should be fabulous but it clearly lacks good management on its upkeep. The pool area is nice and looks like the pictures and is pretty much it's only saving grace. It reminded us of staying in a dilapidated motel from the 1950's in America. Popenguine is a lovely place, you should totally visit and you deserve a nice stay!

Stay So Nice & Conveniently Near Airport, Returned

The stay at La Villa Serere was extremely pleasant. Nestled in the heart of Thies Region, this eco-friendly property boasts natural beauty equipped with a pool, restaurant on site, beach access, and friendly property caretakers that ensure that the stay at the property is both memorable and enjoyable. Even Airport transfer can be arranged by contacting the property in advance. Only suggestion is to possibly have also a menu or guidebook in English as everything is in French and needed to be physically translated. Overall wonderful stay!

Dakar

The location is much closer to the airport than driving into Dakar especially if it’s a layover and a flight out the next morning. There wasn’t any hot water for a shower but didn’t attempt to ask why after I was already in the shower. However, staff was friendly and prompt pickup from the airport.
