“An excellent two night stay at a location we hadn't visited for some years. Our dog-friendly room was really clean . Evening meals were good. Breakfast was not included though we think it is provided at other times of the year. There was however a very good cafe and shop next door that served breakfast, coffee and snacks. We will be back to both establishments in the next few months”

“Location is superb right by harbor.. lots of narrow small stairs to our room on 3rd floor in roof. Room was airless even with windows open… breakfast was great however supervisor was pretty unfriendly and basically kicked us out right at 10am… don’t expect any frills…”

“Delightful cabin stay. Easy booking. Clear communication including a very detailed instruction given our late check-in (nice additional touch leaving a lamp on in the cabin to help our arrival). Excellent fit and finish throughout including the separate toilet and shower block. Convenient Spar opposite and a lovely walk to Par beach via the local coffee shop. Had the opportunity to meet the owner on check-out who was also lovely. Highly recommended”

“The Royal Oak is a great old inn, with a well-stocked bar and excellent food. Terrific ambiance, inside and out, including outdoor dining options, The hosts were helpful and charming, going out of their way to make us feel welcome and helping me fix a scheduling hiccup too. And there are two friendly pub cats! Super convenient location in the center of picturesque Lostwithiel, not far from the train station, though you do have a bit of a hill to climb. “Really very nice and great value for money would definitely stay again , it’s a little out of the way do watch your sat nav doesn’t lead you into a field Only very slight issue was breakfast and check out were very early for a Sunday morning I think check out 1000 breakfast until 0900 , but it was a nice breakfast”
