Amazing!! Totally recommend this place! Very beautiful, clean and Philippe is the most thoughtful and helpful owner! There is an additional sitting area for guests and a common room to make your tea/Coffee if you want. We loved the breakfast, it was very delicious and exceptionally well presented!!

This is a hidden gem. Don't let the dilapidated state outside fool you. Inside is beautiful, and our host was most welcoming. The breakfast was perfect.

The room was nice, practical and very clean. Breakfast was outstanding! Chia pudding, fruit, jam, - everything home made with edible flowers. We ate in the backyard by the cliff which is adjacent to the hotel. The cheese which was served acquired his final ripe process in the cliff’s cave from the 13th century. Unforgettable experience!

Wonderful stay

Philippe was a welcoming and wonderful host. Even though we arrived a little later than planned, Philippe took the time to show us on the map where to go for dinner, showed us our room and the facilities and didn’t rush us in anyway. The room was lovely and very well appointed. The garden was magnificent full of plants and old fashion roses that smelled of proper roses. The breakfast was a work of art, delicious and plentiful. The town centre is about 10/15 minutes walk from the house, via the foot bridge over the river. We only stayed one night but we would not hesitate staying at Clos du Moulin again and would certainly recommend staying there.

Very friendly host, beautiful property lovely garden and short walk over the river 5 minute walk uphill into the town centre with a good choice of restaurants. Breakfast was exceptional with lots of different tasty items, the host was very proud of his home-made preserves

Great host, great stay

Philippe is a wonderful host and made this stay memorable. From assisting with car parking to sharing local history and preparing delicious breakfast—everything was top notch. Excellent tranquil location on the river bank within 10 minute walk to historic city center.

The best place to stay in Poitiers

It was our first experience of staying in a B&B and it was excellent. The breakfast was like a cordon bleu restaurant and fit for kings. The room was lovely. Large and very comfortable. The decor of the building was beautifully done. It is a 15 min walk to the centre across the river. Philippe was extremely generous with his time and the efforts he puts into providing an excellent service. His English is also extremely good.

Hidden gem!

Absolutely charming place run by an amazing host. Philippe’s hospitality is second to none. We appreciated all the small details that just make you realize how much he cares for his guests. This renovated historic house has so much to offer and is just a short walk from the old town. Breakfast in the garden was the highlight - all local, seasonal produce with some lovely touches (like the edible flowers and herbs from the very same garden). We’re vegan and Philippe accommodated without a problem. This is THE place to stay in Poitiers, without a doubt, very highly recommend it!

Litet B&B med 4 rum i större villa. Trånga och branta trappor till rummen, men väldigt personligt och mycket hjälpsam värd. Plats för 2-3 bilar bakom grind. Rena och hyfsat stora rum. Fantastisk frukost som vi pga fint väder åt i trädgården bakom huset. Nästan allt i frukosten var hemmagjort, inkl jogurten. Huset ligger på liten trång gata nere vid floden med ca 15 min promenad till centrum. Väldigt mysig stad. Kan varmt rekommenderas

Très belle chambre et demeure idéalement situé , au pied de falaises troglodyte. A moins de 2 km à pied du centre historique de Poitiers et 20 min en voiture de Futuroscope.Très bon acceuil,petit déjeuner excellent et varié, possibilité de faire une balade ou randonnée intéressante le long de la rivière Le Clain et ses moulins . Un très bon séjour que nous recommandons.
