“Worst place to stay! After a 30 day trip in all of NZ this was the worst. The food was terrible, the customer service unacceptable. I would do a day hike in the park and have the water taxi take you back to Kaiteriteri ”

“Es un lindo lugar para el verano, ubicación inmejorable entras caminando al parque nacional, da para disfrutar varios días. Llevá comida porque está medio aislado, y abrigo, las habitaciones están muy bien pero los baños y cocina son algo frescos ya que tiene huecos al aire libre y se enfrían. Abel tasman es hermoso, volveriamos sin dudarlo”

Clean rooms, parking is free, staff was welcoming and helpful finding a good restaurant for dinner. Would book again when in the area.”

“The on-property host and manager, Valery, made the stay phenomenal; he is also a professional chef and will cook you breakfast and dinner each day using fresh and local ingredients. “Lodge by the Beach was one of the most memorable lodgings we’ve ever stayed in. Designed and built by the architect-owner, Alan with industrial grade materials for safety and various art pieces brought in from overseas, the property is truly amazing. Perched atop a hill near the Split Apple Rock with breathtaking views of the ocean and lush forests, it even offers the private access to a secluded, pristine beach, which made our stay feel like a true escape from the world. The culinary...

“This place is perfection! The location, decor, service, food, drink, attentiveness to your comfort was impeccable. We stayed for 3 nights in the Jacuzzi Suite and the owners, Alan & Luba, made feel instantly at home. ”
